International Fire Service Journal of Leadership and Management
Journal Purpose
The International Fire Service Journal of Leadership and Management (IFSJLM) is a refereed journal that publishes articles of interest to an international audience of academics and in-service fire and emergency management professionals. While engineering and technology based articles are welcome and included in the section of the journal called “From the Practitioner’s Corner,” the principal thrust and primary impetus for creation of IFSJLM is to offer the international fire service articles focusing on leadership and management.
In addition, the journal offers a book review section.
IFSJLM welcomes articles submitted by international scholars, however, article submissions must be in written in the English language.
Journal Mission
The purpose of the International Fire Service Journal of Leadership and Management is to advance the international fire service by publishing carefully selected, peer-reviewed articles that enhance the theory and practice of fire leadership and management.
