Fire Protection Publications Guidelines for Copyright Permission Requests
Thank you for your interest in IFSTA publications. We are pleased to provide you with the following guidelines for a copyright request. By following these simple recommendations, your request will be handled in a timely manner.
Please include this information in your written request:
- The title and edition of the book (or video, CD-ROM, curriculum, etc.)
- The exact material, including
page numbers, figure numbers, photo number you wish to
reproduce
- The purpose of the reproduction and to whom the material will be distributed
- The approximate number of copies you will make
- The nature of your company/organization (non-profit, government, education, etc.)
- Your deadline or date you wish to use the material
- Your email address, fax number, and postal address
You may send the request by fax, email, or U.S. mail. After we have received your written request, it will take one or two business days to
process. If a copyright permission fee is required, you have
the option of paying by purchase order, check, or credit card. All requests and permissions must be in writing.
